Bayer Diabetes Care Announces New Distribution Arrangements in the UK

Bayer Diabetes Care is now distributing selected products for patients and healthcare professionals via a reduced number of wholesalers. These wholesalers are Alliance Healthcare (Distribution) Limited, Phoenix Healthcare Distribution Limited and AAH Pharmaceuticals Limited. This arrangement came into effect on 1st April 2010.

In addition, for non-dispensing doctors, Bayer Diabetes Care has appointed Williams Medical Supplies Limited.

 

Bayer Diabetes Care will also continue to work with Advanced Care Products Limited.

 

Arrangements for distribution of Bayer's Consumer Care and Bayer’s Animal Health products remain unchanged.

 

A spokesperson from Bayer Diabetes Care said; “By simplifying our Diabetes Care supply chain, we are confident that we will see improvements in continuity of supply for UK customers and healthcare professionals."
