Business as Usual in the Low-Carbon Economy at Bayer, Newbury

Business has already made significant progress in responding to the climate change agenda and is well placed to make an early and decisive contribution to meeting the challenge.

Its priorities now must be:

 

  • make its climate change policies into business-as-usual
  • step up efforts to improve energy efficiency
  • work with employees and supply chain to reduce emissions and adapt to climate change
  • measure, report and benchmark its emissions performance
  • provide its customers with the products and service they require to help them to tackle climate change
