Newbury 10K hailed a great success

Company confirms it will be an annual event

 

Over 530 entrants ensured the inaugural Bayer Newbury 10K, held on Sunday 1 June 2008, was a great success, with the company pledging its support to repeat the event in 2009.

 

The run helped raise funds for local charity Sail4Cancer.  The charity aims to impove the quality of life for individuals and their families who have been affected by cancer.

 

Bayer worked in partnership the Newbury Athletic Club to make the run happen and would like to express their gratitude to the following organisations and people for their help in making the Bayer Newbury 10K 2008 possible:
