British Science Week competition

Thank you to everyone who entered the Baylab Lab Coat Competition, the competition has now closed. We are now considering all the entries and will be in contact with the winning schools very soon.

'After all the success of last year’s competition Bayer relaunched their lab coat competition as part of British Science Week 8th-17th March 2019. Baylab gave schools the chance to win a set of lab coats for their science classes.

To be in with a chance of winning, all students had to design a lab coat that illustrates what science means to them.

This ranges from illustrations of their favourite science topics, science that affects life on our planet or anything else that makes them think of science and the bigger picture. The more creative, the better!

Who entered?

All schools were eligible, but entries must be within the age categories below. Entrants could be teams or individuals and we encouraged them to run this activity in larger groups, selecting the top 5 from thier school. Winners and runners up will be selected from each category.

  • Infant Year 1-2
  • Junior Year 2-6
  • Senior Year 7-9

In addition to schools we also welcomed entries from other organisations such as youth groups.'
