Careers with Animals

Do you like the thought of working with animals and want to learn more?

Bayer and the Royal Veterinary College are committed to ensuring that the relationship between animals and humans remains positive, to both protect animals and benefit people. We want to encourage young people of all ages to consider the many options a career in science could offer from animals to medicine.

If you are considering a career working with animals or in science in general, why not join us at our Baylab in Reading for a free full day workshop which will allow you to explore all the various roles you could do working with animals.

You’ll get the chance to practice clinical skills such as bandaging, gowning and pet first aid, learn how to interpret x-rays, anatomy, and identify plastinated specimens. You will then meet vets, nurses & students from the Royal Veterinary College and Bayer who will answer your questions and offer advice about future careers as well as join in fun activities about veterinary sciences and biology.

For anyone considering this career path, the workshop is a fantastic opportunity to talk to those already in such roles and gain knowledge and insight about the world of work.
