Bayer is a Friend of Pride, supporting inclusion and diversity
It influences the extent to which people bring their own unique views, backgrounds and experience into our organisation, helping to shaping our culture and build a better future for our company and our customers.
Ultimately an inclusive environment fast tracks our business: it helps build trust, drive effectiveness and productivity, increase engagement and launch innovation.
A key focus of Bayer’s inclusion and diversity strategy is to support external initiatives that align with our own approach and positively promote our brand values.
To this end we are proud to be “Friends of Pride”. We will supporting Pride festivals in Reading and Dublin over the summer months – the Cambridge festival took place on 8 June and we were there too!
The smaller Pride festivals rely solely on volunteers and support from local businesses and people, so we encourage you to support the festivals if you are in Dublin on 29 June and Reading on 31 August.
Dublin Pride – 29 June
We have a Bayer team marching in the Dublin Pride Parade and we will share the great pictures and stories after the festival has taken place.
Pride St Louis – USA, 30 June
Further afield, Bayer is proud to be headline sponsor of the Pride St Louis in the USA, forming part of our global commitment to inclusion and diversity.
Reading Pride – 31 August
In Reading we will support our local pride through volunteering and marching in the parade as Team Bayer.
We encourage everyone to show their support for our LGBTQ+ employee community and our wider approach to inclusion and diversity.
