Work Experience
As a life science company, Bayer is passionate about science and education. We believe that in order to solve the environmental and healthcare issues facing our world today, we must invest in the education of our science leaders of tomorrow.
To help open young minds to a career in science and the endless opportunities that could offer, Bayer is hosting “Insights into the Life Science Sector” work experience weeks. We hope these weeks will give our younger generations, (who face career path decisions) some hands-on experience of what is available to them in the world of work, and most importantly, where it could one day lead.
Upcoming work experience opportunities 2026:
This year our work experience programmes are ran in partnership with Futures for All a Social Mobility charity dedicated to young people from state schools and colleges access real-world experiences.

- 29th June (Local students and surrounding areas to Reading) – Applications open 6/04/26
Lab days
- 27th May - open to students Nationally - Applications now open
21st July - open to students Nationally - Applications open 28/04/26
